This turned out to be the ultimate experience that I can brag about to my friends back in the States! Enjoying historical shrines and beautiful gardens during the day, and then experiencing Japan's modern nightlife here after dark... Kyoto really is a city with incredible depth. I want to thank the manager and the cast girl who welcomed me, a foreigner, with warm smiles and no walls between us. If I ever have the chance to visit Kansai again, I will absolutely come back!
