Before I flew over to Japan, I did a heap of digging online about soaplands because I wanted to know what I was getting myself into. I thought I had a decent idea of what to expect, but honestly, the real experience was even better than I’d imagined. It wasn’t just good, it was bloody brilliant.
What really stood out to me was the bath service. I reckon that’s something you can only properly experience at a Japanese soapland. It felt totally unique, and nothing I’d heard or read beforehand really captured what it was actually like in person.
From start to finish, everything was spot on. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the way the whole experience was handled all felt perfect. I walked out feeling stoked and thinking, “Yep, that was next level.”
No doubt about it, I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Japan.

I checked out Club Royal in Fukuhara, Kobe, and honestly, it was a pretty solid experience. The front desk staff were super polite and made everything feel easy from the jump. I barely speak Japanese, but that wasn’t a big deal at all since we used a translation app and everything went smoothly.
The girl I was with was really kind,cute,chill, and totally professional, which made me feel comfortable the whole time.
